Obituary of Anthony Pagonis
Anthony T. Pagonis of Long Island, NY formerly of Tannersville, PA. "Tony" was born in Chios, Greece in 1937 and immigrated to the United States in 1946. Proud veteran of the USAF, he is survived by his children Caroline Mooney (Bill), Ted (Tina), Barbara (Paul), Elizabeth, Michael (Jess) and Thomas. Loving grandfather of Christopher, Cassie, Kalie, Ethan, Saige and Athena. Also survived by sisters Jean Mavroudis and Athena Kallinikos (Bill). Reposing Towers Funeral Home, 2681 Long Beach Rd. Oceanside, Sunday 2-4 & 7-9pm. Funeral service Greek Orthodox Cathedral of St. Paul, Hempstead, Monday 10am. Interment Greenfield Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to Parkinson's Foundation and/or Holy Cross Greek Orthodox Church, 135 Stokes Ave, Stroudsburg, PA 18360 in memory of Anthony.
