She was very proud of her Irish roots and made the effort to stay connected with her Irish family. She was always happy to get up and dance a jig or a reel when the Irish music was playing. To this end, Peg organized a trip with Jerry, her children & their families, back to County Mayo, the Waldron's ancestral home on Ireland's western coast, so that all could explore their Irish heritage.
